Georgetown is a historic community located north of Round Rock. Georgetown’s iconic downtown hosts a variety of events each month which ties the community together. some highlighted events are the Red Poppy Festival and the Annual Christmas Stroll. Georgetown also hosts a weekly active farmers market for those who enjoy fresh local produce and local artisans. Art and culture are the hub of the Georgetown community.
Georgetown also has many parks and hike and bike trails as well as places to kayak and fresh water swimming spots. Lake Georgetown is a popular spot for residents during the summer where people can enjoy boating, skiing, tubing or just relaxing at the lakes edge with family. Residents can also enjoy San Gabriel Park, Berry Springs Park and Preserve and the Chautauqua Park. Georgetown also houses the Blue Hole Park featuring the lovely lagoon.
Great shopping is also available to residents and visitors of Georgetown. There is the Wolf Ranch Town Center, Williamsburg Village Center, as well as the 1000 Oaks Center. In addition to these Downtown Georgetown houses many antique shops, and art galleries for those looking for that unique flare.
