Hutto

 

The city of Hutto is a rapidly growing city Northeast of Austin and Round Rock. In fact as of June 2018 it has become one of the fastest growing communities in the nation! Hutto’s proximity to Austin makes it a great place to live. In 2017 it was even named as one of 2017 Best Suburbs for Milliennials in the Austin Metro. Residents of Hutto enjoy all the advantages of Austin, while still enjoying the safety and tranquilly of rural suburbia.

The heart of Hutto is Old Town. This section of town is historic with buildings dating back to the 1800’s. Old Town houses a number of businesses and shops which attract residents and visitors alike.

Family activities are also easy to come by in Hutto. The city hosts a variety of events each year such as Treats on Parks Street, the Spring Home and Garden Show, Santa Clause Crawl, Christmas Tree Lighting, and the Fall Christmas Fair. The city also started an annual music celebration in 2017 called the KOKEfest. The city offers four community parks and a splash pad. The city also hosts a weekly farmers market from May to October. Other nearby entertainment include the Dell Diamond, and the Hawaiian Falls Water Park.
